WORK THE MOVIE

A 4 minute black and white film about the photographs I imagined, and the assignments that got away. Each image was created individually in Midjourney and made to match a style that I developed years ago in the golden age of darkrooms and street photography.

I know this is a business website, where photography is supposed to be the sensible answer to all our problems. But curiosity has always been part of the job.

Maybe it began with finger paints, then colored pencils long before somehow landing us in the middle of this digital visual revolution.

If I remember right, every new tool arrived with someone predicting the end of the craft, if not the world, but somehow, we all survived.

AI is for sure controversial especially as it applies to our visual world but what can I say? I love making pictures, and apparently, I still haven’t found enough ways to do it.

And no, I have not gone over to the dark side.
